The hull of the Moonraker 36 was slightly modified as a result of tank testing and the new shape, as it were came into produktion in January 1972. At the same time weights were shifted around and it is said that these changes have made for a much better, more sea-kindly and faster craft. Hull alterations consisted mainly of widening and lengthening the chine rails and reshaping the skeg to a more aerofoil configuration while extending it further towards the stern. The fuel tank was moved aft and the water tank now resides under the after cabin........
