Fresh water / Pressure switch

The pressure switch is located on the accumulator tank and stops via the water / air pressure for the pump, when a certain pressure has been achieved. This happens through a little hole at the bottom of the thread, which the pressure switch is fastened to the accumulator tank by. When the unit has been sitting for several years, it might happen, that the hole has become rusty,  by which the pressure switch not switches off, and the pump keeps running.

Demount the pressure switch and unscrew the six screws (shown on the photo at right). Winkle carefully the plate loose and clean it as well as the rubber membrane, and run a 4 or 5mm drill through the hole. Assemble the parts again and  tighten carefully the six screws. The white thing on the photo is packing tape.

Below is shown how the Gard-All pressure switch can be adjusted.
