When the salt-water cooled exhaust Manifold gets leaky, it of course has to be replaced. However, does it occur at a time, when it is impossible to get service (you're on a desert place) you might be able to make a temporarily repair. This is possible if you can get access to the leaky spot. Degrease the spot, grind off the paint and rust, and then press and putty the spot with Plastic Padding (Chemical Metal type) and let it harden.
So, Chemical Metal should be found in the tool box!
