The windows are of 6mm toughened glass (hardened), and a common colour is the dark tinted, named grey Parsol. If you need a replacement window, a glazier at a glassworks can order one for delivery in 2-3 weeks time.
To ensure the best outcome, a drawing or a sketch of the subject as well as a sample of the broken window (if coloured), has to be enclosed the order. The society has a drawing of the sliding window in the cockpit (Colin Chapman model), and if that isn't the window to be replaced, the drawing can be used as inspiration in the preparation of the needed drawing.
