In fine weather the boats gathered at Vallensbæk Harbour late Saturday morning, where place was booked at the pier opposite Ishøj Harbour. However Anders Olesen, Chivas had to pass due to official matters, just as Michael & Pernille Jensen had to participate without boat. The remaining seven boats covered the most of the country, from Jutland to Bornholm.

People paid visits to each other boats, gaining experience and exchanging ideas. A photocopier had been set up, so documents and knowledge could be duplicated and shared with all interested. In the evening all assembled at restaurant Krabben, where dinner had been arranged. Harbour master Elmo Juhl had brought along his accordion and diverted with sailor ballads. This first successfully rally lasted a good time into the night.
