No new Moonrakers will be produced this time round. Dispute over rights and not least the arisen financial crisis makes any thoughts about putting an "old timer" into production very little likely.

The crisis though has the advantage for the euro-countries that the value of the pound has fallen, which makes Moonrakers and other things cheaper to buy in England.

David Tyacke, has commented the affair writing that Moonrakerboats.net's Dave Lancashire og Gill Algor have several companies in various stages of bankruptcy proceedings. "We are currently in dispute with them over my widebeam narrowboat".

Nick Warner has mailed me, writing that he went to view the moulds under offer through boatshed, and was informed that the two guys mentioned had already put a holding deposit on the moulds and  not returned or been in contact.
He was therefore reluctant to proceed untill all the legal issues  regarding the deposit had been sorted, now creditors are involved in their business.

Some problems seems to have arisen concerning the relaunch of the Moonraker, as the web site www.moonrakerboats.net  partly has been shut down and no answer the E-mails. It is said, that a dispute is caused due to a person, who is claiming part rights to the purchased moulds.

Once again new Moonrakers will be produced. This will take place through a newly established company, Moonrakerboats run by Dave Lancashire and Gill Algor. They are going to produce the same model as Vic Bell had made for him self in 1991,  Moonraker Super de Luxe. As far as we know, the first example will be ready late 2007.

If you are an owner of a Moonraker powered by 2 x 115Hp or 2 x 145Hp Perkins diesel we would like to know the size of the propellers used, how many revolutions your engines do at full power and how many knots the vessel do. Please let us know t.dehn@moonraker.dk .

Indeed, this is certainly a Moonraker! Quite spectacular, but hardly not a good advertisement for Moonraker owners! Not a member of our society, but Allan Waller in Power Game, who accidentally hit the rocks at Guernsey. It is about the last produced Moonraker from 1991, a Super de Luxe, named Excel, which Vic Bell from Aqua Bell Ltd. originally had produced for him self.
